Mrs. Lake worked at Pennsylvania Hospital at 8th & Spruce Streets in Philadelphia for most of her career as a dietitian. I was lucky to work with her during the summer after graduating from Penn State.

Pennsylvania author and Penn State professor made free copies available to intrepid readers following a map of a defined route to five exhibit booths. At each station, their map was stamped and, if returned, the book was theirs.

Later, readers brought the book to Dr. Rolls to have the book signed.

Manette Richardson, past state president, works for Eggland’s Best. Cindy and I saw Manette in the elevator at the hotel.

I was sorry to miss Zaneta Pronsky, but I took the chance to meet Mr. Pronsky, president of their company, and two workers at the Food/Medication Interactions booth. The Pronskys donated twelve copies of Food/Medication Interactions, a bible in clinical nutrition, to Marilyn Howell’s relief effort. It was rewarding to be able to tell Mr. Pronsky about the status of the relief effort.

American Dietetic Association Foundation: Leaders, Legends and Legacy Gala this year’s Corporate Award Recipient was McNeil Nutritionals, LLC, a Johnson & Johnson Company. Founded in 2001, McNeil Nutritionals is an international consumer nutrition company that markets foods and dietary supplements. They are located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. McNeil Nutritonals has been a generous sponsor of the ADA Foundation Gala for the past four years.
