Co-editor (with Pittsburgh Dietetic Association member Valerie Kogut) of new book published by the Oncology Nursing Society, Nutritional Issues in Cancer Care released August 2005. The book can be ordered from the Oncology Nursing Society website at www.ons.org.
- Sandra is part of the ADA research working team currently working on the oncology protocols for the ADA evidence based research project. She also sits on the editorial board for the National Cancer Institutes supportive care board. The PDQ (physicians data query) is a web based resource for health care professionals as well as consumers. She helps to update the nutrition section of the website on a monthly basis.
- Sandra is a member of the Northwest Dietetic Association.
- Valerie is a member of the Pittsburgh Dietetic Association.
