• Melissa Feather was quoted in the AM Magazine Section of the Morning Call on Monday, January 10, 2005 in the Family Project Q & A Section.  The article was "Work and play as a family to avoid cabin fever during winter months."   Melissa talked about "letting kids be creative.  Let them have fun and make a mess, whether it's with a cooking project or making gingerbread houses."

• Family Project is a collaboration between the Morning Call and parenting professionals brought together by Valley Youth House's Project Child, the Lehigh Valley's child-abuse prevention coalition.  

• Melissa was also quoted in the same AM Magazine Section on January 3, 2005 in an article titled "Is my daughter's weight affecting her popularity."
  

• Melissa is the past president of the Lehigh Valley Dietetic Association.
