You can verify your license or any professional license by visiting the state website www.dos.state.pa.us and clicking on the link to verify a professional license. This section is a matter of public record and lists all individuals licensed by the state of Pennsylvania and their licensure history. Employers can verify if individuals or applicants are licensed and their licensure history. For example, when an individual became licensed, when they renewed, when their license expires and if any disciplinary action has been taken on the license. This is also the quickest way to verify licensure renewal and the issuance of a new license. Information such as renewal or issuance of a license will appear on the website before the individual actually gets word via the mail.
