FOR HER:
....dedication to the profession of nutrition and dietetics through her
continued and active involvement at the national, state and district levels. Included are district president, Pennsylvania state president, Pennsylvania Foundation President and a two- term delegate to the American Dietetic Association where she served on the Medical Nutrition Therapy Outcome Task Force. She continues to serve as a reviewer for Poster Sessions for the ADA Food and Nutrition Conference.


.... vision, motivation, creativity and writing expertise exemplifi ed in the development of a post baccalaureate Nutrition and Dietetics CADE Approved Internship as well as movement of Introductory Nutrition to a scientific elective at the institution where she is teaching.


.... dedication to students through the use of her innovative and creative teaching style to encourage and mentor her students, re- fl ects her excellence as an educator and academician.


....state and regional recognition of nutrition expertise as exemplifi ed by her frequent presentations at meetings and seminars for colleagues at colleges and universities, her peers at state and regional meetings and the consumer population, as an avid volunteer speaker for community groups and organizations as an advocate for improved nutrition.

field through thoughtful communication and visionary advice and counsel.


....enthusiasm and vigor, as a devoted and dedicated wife, mother of
two grown sons and grandmother, the proudest of all her accomplishments and truly the most devoted aspect of her life. In this role, her capability to balance lifetime learning and education, volunteer leadership work and still maintain a “home front” of love, peace and solace remains her most outstanding accomplishment.
