Thank you for your interest in promoting the activities of the Pennsylvania Dietetic Association (PADA) in increasing and improving recruitment, selection, and support of ethnic minorities and males. PADA’s activities are aligned with its mission and strategic plan that are, in turn, consistent with those of the American Dietetic Association (ADA). PADA received the ADA’s 2007 Diversity Action Award, recognizing its accomplishments in its diversity-related work. Additional activities like yours will enable PADA to progress further toward its strategic goal.
Accepting the PADA’s Diversity Award confirms your commitment to PADA’s strategic goal #1 and to the intent of the Diversity Award. This grant is to foster participation in activities in schools with a population of minority students. The goal is to promote better understanding of the profession of dietetics by all students. The activity will promote the profession of dietetics in classroom learning activities for students or at Career Days. Accepting the grant also confirms your commitment to provide a summary of the event within two weeks of its completion. A summary form has been provided for your convenience.
