Limit:2 grants per PADA member per membership year.

This grant is to foster the image of the Dietetics practitioner to the public. The intent is to encourage participation in activities in schools or with the public to highlight dietetics and provide quality nutrition information. The goal is to promote better understanding of the profession of dietetics by all.

 

Diversity Grant $100 (Click to learn more)

This grant is to foster participation in activities in schools with a population of minority students. The goal is to promote better understanding of the profession of dietetics by all students. The activity will promote the profession of dietetics in classroom learning activities for students or at Career Days. The dietetics professional will be eligible to receive free career materials and may use ADA career video if desired. The ADA diversity tool kit is available through PADA. It includes a prepared program which is easily used.

Mentoring Grant $150 (word document)

This grant is to foster in DT students, didactic or coordinated program students or dietetic interns better understanding of the profession of dietetics and to encourage participation in the association in the future. Mentors should be individuals who are not affiliated with educational programs as preceptors, program directors or site directors.
