Nutrition Program Coordinator
American Dairy Association & Dairy Council (ADADC) Mid East

I am a nutrition program coordinator for ADADC Mid East. Teachers contact me with questions about early childhood education, school education and school food service. I promote milk and milk products by teaching people who work in school food service. This helps the dairy farmers, too. I conduct programs, workshops and in-service training on nutrition and dairy-related topics for educators, school nurses and food service professionals. I also develop nutrition education programs and materials and program implementation plans. My job also includes marketing the Dairy Council, its materials, services and messages.

I enjoy my work with ADADC Mid East. It is interesting, challenging and no two days are ever the same! I’ve worked for Mid East for several years. In fact, I’ve worked in this capacity since I graduated from college. I graduated from Mercyhurst College with a bachelor of arts degree in home economics education and Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a master of
science degree in food and nutrition.
