Position Description:
Seton Hill University invites applications for the tenure track position of Program Director/Assistant or Associate Professor for the Nutrition and Dietetics Program. Start date is August 1, 2026. The Nutrition & Dietetics Program sits in the College of Health Professions & Natural Sciences. The Program Director reports to the College Dean. The program offers Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees, including the ACEND accredited MS in Nutrition & Dietetics. Responsibilities:
Administrative
Provide direct oversight for all academic and administrative matters.
Lead the faculty in strategic planning and monitor the process to further the program's mission in teaching, research, service, and patient care.
Supervise the process of maintaining ACEND program accreditation.
Promotes the program and enhancing its visibility, assisting with recruiting and retaining students, and managing the day-to-day logistics of the program.
Teaching and advising
Teach both undergraduate and graduate populations
Teach in both in-person and online formats
Mentor students through academic and professional development
Provide academic advising
Scholarship and professional activities
Engage in professional and/or scholarly activity in the field
Service to the University
Participate in service to the College and University

Minimum Qualifications:
A MS in Nutrition & Dietetics, or related field, is requiredRegistered Dietitian, licensed to practice in Pennsylvania
Desired Qualifications:
Doctoral degree, such as PhD in Nutrition or Doctor of Clinical Nutrition, or related field Familiarity with ACEND accreditation standards
