Position Description:
Under indirect supervision and working interdependently with physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers, provides a broad range of nutrition services. SRNHC is a Community Health Center with locations in McKees Rocks and Mt. Washington, PA. We serve diverse communities of medically underserved persons. Our motto is Health Care with a Heart. This position is part-time - one day per week with possibilities of adding capacity, come grow with us!
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Registered Dietitian, licensed in Pennsylvania with NPI number2. 2+ years providing direct nutrition care, preferably in an outpatient setting
3. Experience counseling across the life span, preferably in an underserved community
Desired Qualifications:
1. Proficient with EMR documentation2. Experience working with interdisciplinary teams
3. Expertise in diabetes management and patient education
