Mini-Grant Opportunity!

To support the use of the new Kids Eat Right toolkit, “Healthy Eating. From the Ground Up," 50 (fifty) $200 grants are available.

Recipients of the mini-grants agree to give two presentations from the new Healthy Eating toolkit

(for elementary students, teens and/or parents) between the dates of June 3 - August 2, 2013.

Keystone Policy Partner Program

WHAT will a Keystone Policy Partner do?

Inform and Stay Informed
KPPs will receive up-to-date communication from PADA on relevant legislative issues as they happen.  KPPs will also be asked to communicate with PADA regarding legislative happenings and where their legislators stand on key issues.

Learn how to advocate for your profession
PADA will sponsor free quarterly training via webinar on a variety of legislative topics.  A calendar of events is coming soon.

Talk to your legislators
A key function of the KPP will be to get to know state and federal legislators.  If you are not talking to them about food and nutrition, who is?  PADA will also send out alerts to KPPs when important issues are being discussed in Harrisburg and Washington.
