Christy Rickabaugh, DTR, CDM of Moon Township was named Recognized Dietetic Technician of the Year from the Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The Recognized Dietetic Technician of the Year award honors the contributions of dietetic technicians to the profession. Award recipients have demonstrated leadership qualities and performance in the Academy or their employment through clinical nutrition, food service management, education, career guidance, and legislation and public relations.
Rickabaugh obtained her Dietary Manager Certificate and her Dietetic Technician, Associate of Science from the Community College of Allegheny County.She started her dietetics career at UPMC Shadyside as a Dietetic Technician and then moved into her current position as a Dietetic Technician with UPMC Presbyterian.
