Congratulations to Brigid Neary MS, RD, LDN, CDE of Conshohocken for being named a Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year from the Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Neary received her bachelor’s of science degree in dietetics from the University of Pittsburgh. She completed her dietetic internship and received her master’s of science degree in dietetics through the University of Pittsburgh. Neary has been a clinical dietitian at the Coatesville VA Medical Center for the past four years.
Brigid has volunteered in several roles on the PAND board since 2013 including the Annual Meeting co-chair, Awards chair and is the current President of the Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is the world’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals. The Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year Award is presented to members of the Academy who are 35 years or younger, who have demonstrated leadership qualities and performance in public relations, research, community outreach, management, legislation, education, and other areas of the profession, both on the job and in the community.
