About the Role
The Manager of Culinary Nutrition leads the implementation and continuous improvement of Unite for HER's
Registered Dietitian team serving our members.

This role manages a team of English- and Spanish-speaking Registered Dietitians to deliver engaging, culturally responsive, evidence-based nutrition support for the breast and ovarian cancer communities.


Roles and Responsibilities
Manage and mentor the Culinary RD team, leading team meetings and weekly 1:1s

Oversee a program of 48 annual virtual cooking classes, including lead individual virtual cooking classes
highlighting healthy meal preparation and ingredient nutrition education

Oversee the Latina Wellness Program, including managing the Culinary Dietitian Lead and Spanishspeaking
support staff, supporting member recruitment and growth.

Deliver nutrition services for Wellness Passport and Empowered Living Program members, including at
Orientation events

Lead nutrition-focused creative campaigns across written, video, and social platforms 

Collaborate with the Communications Team to keep nutrition content accurate and current across the
Nutrition Education Hub and identify gaps to expand the education library

Support the Sr. Director of Nutrition and Education in executing the UFH Connect education platform as
the role evolves

Review nutrition program metrics on an ongoing, quarterly, and annual basis to identify trends and improve
scheduling, registration, and participation

Manage the RD Team budget for all culinary initiatives and work with the Accounting Team to process
speaker fees

Develop and deliver oncology nutrition presentations for medical professional and patient audiences

Attend and assist with all four Unite for HER signature fundraising events in support of the Development
Team

Desired Qualifications:

Desired Skills
Bachelor's degree with RD/RDN board certification and state licensure

Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Registered Dietitian

Minimum 3+ years of experience in oncology nutrition

Minimum 3+ years of experience in leadership, program management, and team supervision

Strong knowledge of clinical oncology nutrition, medical nutrition therapy (MNT), and evidence-based
practice.

Professional speaking and presentation skills 

Dynamic presenter with experience engaging small and
large audiences, both virtually and in person,comfortable moderating events and commanding an on-stage
presence

Ability to travel locally for meetings, classes, and workshops, with occasional air/rail travel as needed
